The Opportunity

Location: Austin, Texas Office (this is an in-office position).


The Inside Sales Team is the backbone of our sales operations. As the first point of contact for many sales leads, the team plays a critical role in understanding our customers' and prospects' needs and identifying how MLC CAD Systems can best partner with them to achieve their desired business outcomes.

Through an intensive ramp-up program and ongoing professional development, MLC provides a clear opportunity for career growth for individuals who are driven to learn, perform, and advance.

Key Outcomes
  • Learn and stay current on MLC CAD Systems' products, services, including CAD & 3D Printings solutions SOLIDWORKS, Markforged, and Formlabs
  • Establish and manage a sales pipeline through inbound and outbound lead qualification
  • Prospect new accounts and engage our existing customer base through phone calls, email, online chat, and social media
  • Schedule and conduct online discovery meetings and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with Marketing and local sales teams to plan and promote events and other lead-generation activities
  • Accurately maintain and update customer, prospect, and sales activity information in the CRM
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline and close transactional business with persistence, professionalism, and drive
